  I’ve had the privilege of meeting this Latina powerhouse twice before but never had I had the honor to sit down with her for some real girl talk! The Adelante Movement is for empowering Latina women. The Adelante Movement was created for all of Latina women to unite socially, economically, and politically. They provide the information, the support, the training, and the resources to get to where they need to go. Its aim is to own more business, raise more money, bring franchises to their family, pay for their children’s school and college, and a powerful voice for their community. The Adelante Dream That we work because we want to and not because we have to. That we are heard by politicians. That we become experts on The View and Nightline—in the mainstream, as well as in Spanish media. That we promote each other and watch each other’s backs.
